Never buy detangler again with this DIY recipe!

Stop buying detangler at the store and start making it yourself with this easy, all natural recipe! We go through a LOT of detangler in our house! Especially when I let my daughter use it herself or when we play “salon” and she drowns my entire head in it;)  So when I saw this DIY recipe I couldn’t wait to try it! Have you ever looked at the back of your bottle of detangler from the store? I challenge you to check it out and tell me what three of the ingredients are! Here’s what I found on the back of my daughter’s kid detangler…..

propylene glycol

polysorbate 20

amodimethicone

phenoxyethanol

hexanediol

cetrimonium chloride

disodium edta

polyquaternium

water

I couldn’t believe the only ingredient I recognized on the entire list was water! Especially because my daughter uses this every day and not to mention is always sucking on her hair!

This DIY recipe contains primarily ingredients that I have heard of and smells great! Mix the following ingredients together in a small glass spray bottle and enjoy!

  • glass spray bottle
  • half witch hazel
  • 10 drops Cedarwood
  • 15 drops Lavender
  • 5 drops Rosemary
  • half water

These are the bottles I use for all my essential oil blends, you can buy right on Amazon!
