What is it about the holidays that make people so crazy? Could it be the endless shopping list that seems to never end, fitting in all the holiday parties, cooking for each one, seemingly always running late and rushed, Christmas concerts, long lines & crowds everywhere, trying to find the right gift for everyone, then of course the gift wrapping (that always seem to run out about one inch too short). It’s no surprise this time of year can cause a bit of anxiety. Here a just a few tips to help you make it through;)
Sleep– it all begins with a good night’s rest! I know it seems difficult when you have Christmas parties that go late and then have to do it all over again the next day but it makes a world of difference when you get a full 8 hours of sleep! When you wake up feeling refreshed you’re ready to take on the busy events of the next day like a champ. If you’re like me and your mind races with all the things you need to do tomorrow, try diffusing this next to your bed at night….

Energy– I don’t know about you, but how my morning begins makes a big difference on how my day goes! Every morning I start my day with Lemon Vitality in my ice water!

Exercise– getting your workout in right away can help you feel more energized all day long! Plus there’s just something about the gratitude and how great you feel after a hard sweat session in the morning:) For those sluggish days when you can’t get your tush moving, try these essential oils!

Meditate– sometimes the best thing you can do for stress and anxiety is to take a TIME OUT. It’s so important to practice clearing your mind (it’s a lot harder than it looks)! As your mind wanders from thought to thought (which it will) try to not frustrated but to simply accept it and try focus your mind back to your breathing only and center yourself. I use the app Calm and try to do it twice a week, you won’t believe how relaxed you feel afterwards! Here are a couple great oils to diffuse during mediation!
